Tax Slab for the assessment year 2013-14

Hello Taxpayer,

The Income Tax Limit Slab for the assessment year 2013-14 are as follows:

1. Tax Slab limit for Men & Women

Up to Rs 2 lakh: No tax

From Rs 2 lakh to 5 lakh: 10%

From Rs 5 lakh to 10 lakh: 20%

Above Rs 10 lakh: 30%.

2. Tax Slab limit for Senior.Citizen (above 60year)

Up to Rs 2.5 lakh: No tax

From Rs 2.5 lakh to 5 lakh: 10%

From Rs 5 lakh to 10 lakh: 20%

Above Rs 10 lakh: 30%.

3. Tax Slab limit for Senior.Citizen (above 80 year)

Up to Rs 5 lakh: No tax

From Rs 5 lakh to 10 lakh: 20%

Above Rs 10 lakh: 30%.

Note: The above tax rates are applicable for the previous year ended on 31st March, 2013 and the assessment year of the same is 2013-14.
